DeliverMe.City is a young BtoB start-up specialising in urban and environmentally-friendly delivery services that we are able to adapt to consumer needs thanks to selected and ultra-flexible time slots right up until the last moment. With a customer-focused approach, the start-up has created a secure delivery service that gives a choice of time slots (2 hours/1 hour/30 minutes) depending on the availability of the final recipient.
DeliverMe.City offers a 100% digital service based on 100% electric transport methods. Thanks to the use of electric-assisted cargo bicycles, which are refuelled using electric vans (which act as Mobile Hubs) and strategically positioned in the city according to the day's schedules, the start-up provides a zero-emissions delivery service.
Since April 2023, their team has integrated Woosmap's Geocoding API into their delivery system. And since its application to the Woosmap Acceleration Programme for Startups, it now benefits from access to a free Woosmap Pro account for the next 12 months, allowing it to further optimise delivery services with our geolocation APIs.
Geolocation: the start-up’s core business
The delivery system is based on a transport management system that combines a route optimisation engine and a TMS (Transport Management System). This provides delivery personnel with real-time useful information that is sent directly to their smartphones.
Our geofencing API allows DeliverMe.City to efficiently manage delivery zones thanks to a minimal error rate. Geolocation is also used by DeliverMe.City to manage delivery areas on a volume basis. Thanks to precise information on customer addresses and delivery point locations, DeliverMe.City is able to optimise the distribution of its resources and guarantee fast and reliable delivery times.
Different delivery scenarios
Delivering fresh products requires special management of routes and delivery times. Thanks to a reliable geolocation solution, the company is able to adapt its routes according to the nature of the products to be delivered, thus ensuring freshness and quality when they arrive at the customers’ delivery address.
In particular, DeliverMe.City collaborates with brands such as Chocolat Valrhona, renowned for its quality products. Geolocation plays a crucial role in the delivery of these delicate products to prestigious locations, such as major hotels. Thanks to route optimisation and geolocation precision, DeliverMe.City guarantees punctual and quality delivery services.

An ongoing evolution
DeliverMe.City is a startup that looks to the future, and which is always looking to improve. In particular with its ability to monitor its fleet in real time. With the environment being the central element of its offer, the future integration of Woosmap Distance API will help calculate the carbon footprint saving compared to traditional carbon carriers with the creation of several scenarios.
The continuous optimisation of routes according to the geographical areas of deliveries can also be more precise with the integration of Woosmap Zone API.
