Connect your AI agents and LLMs to Woosmap's trusted location APIs through MCP, exposed as structured, context-aware tools within your AI ecosystem: OpenAI, Anthropic, or local MCP-compatible frameworks.
Woosmap MCP Server: bring spatial awareness to your AI
Connect LLMs to accurate, secure and cost-effective location intelligence.
Woosmap MCP Server is an AI-ready location intelligence layer that connects Woosmap's APIs to AI and LLM-based applications, so agents can call real location data instead of guessing at it.

What you can build
A store finder that holds a conversation
Customers describe what they want in their own words. The agent resolves where they are, searches your locations, ranks by real travel time and answers with opening hours and collection availability in one exchange.

Address input that gets it right first time
Let customers type an address however they like and have it resolved to a verified, structured result, down to the correct building rather than the middle of a postal code, before it reaches your delivery system.

Delivery answers the business can stand behind
Check the route, the real travel time and your cut-off, then tell the customer yes or no. Not an average the model has seen before.

Coverage and assignment by travel time
Calculate the area a customer can genuinely reach, or that you can genuinely serve, and match a job, courier or engineer to the nearest available option by how long it actually takes.

Getting found by other people's assistants
The other direction: making your own locations readable so an assistant recommends your branch when a customer asks where to buy.

The tools your agent gets
Works with what you already use
Compatible with Claude, ChatGPT and any MCP-compatible client. Available on AWS Marketplace for simplified billing and procurement.
Application areas
Retail and e-commerce
Store finding, click and collect, and delivery answers inside the conversation rather than the footer.
Marketplaces
Match supply to demand by real travel time, not straight lines.
Logistics and delivery
Address validation, service areas, delivery feasibility, depot allocation.
Insurance and utilities
Resolve a risk or service address to the right building and confirm coverage.
Property and travel
Answer what is genuinely nearby, how long it takes and what falls inside a catchment.
FAQs
What is an MCP Server?
An MCP Server is a standardized bridge that connects AI models to your external data and tools, such as local files, databases, or APIs. It acts as a universal translator, enabling the AI to securely read your information or perform actions within your specific systems.
How is this different from a standard API?
Standard APIs are connectors designed for software-to-software communication (like an app talking to a server). MCP is a flexible protocol designed for AI-to-data communication, allowing the model to "browse" and understand your tools dynamically without you needing to write custom code for every single action.
Why not just ask an LLM (like ChatGPT) directly?
Standard LLMs rely on static training data and general approximations. A Location MCP provides true Location Intelligence, enabling the AI to access real world data (accurate location), perform precise spatial calculations (road travel time or distance), and provide reliable location aware answers.
Which tools are available?
geocode_address, reverse_geocode, find_nearby, get_place_details, find_stores_nearby, get_route, get_distance_matrix, get_tolls and create_static_map. The documentation holds the current list.
Do I need a Woosmap account?
Yes. You need an Organization, a project with the relevant products activated, and a private API key. A free account covers testing.
Can my agent use travel time and routing?
Yes. Routing, road distance, travel time and toll estimation are available as MCP tools. The Distance API also covers reachable areas and is available to your application directly.
How is this different from AI Discoverability?
This page is about giving your own agent accurate location data. AI Discoverability is the other direction: making your locations readable so other people's assistants find them.
