Woosmap is now ISO/IEC 27001 certified

Here's some news we're glad to share, and that we think matters for the teams who build with us.

Woosmap is now certified to ISO/IEC 27001, the international standard for information security management.

Here is what that means in plain terms. An external assessor examined how we handle data, run our systems, and manage risk across the whole business — from engineering and product to support, sales, and finance.

It means our data protection practices have been independently audited and verified against a rigorous global benchmark.

If you are evaluating a location provider, this gives your security and procurement teams a straight answer, not a follow-up call. It is external proof you can point to in vendor reviews, security questionnaires, and RFPs. Less back and forth. A faster path to getting your project live.

It also backs up something that has always been true here. We do not use your data or your users' data to power advertising or other products. That was our position on day one. Now there is an independent audit behind it, not just our word.
